The Music Icon Plays a Twisted Persona of Herself in Satirical Film Teaser
The celebrated musician is preparing for a significant cinematic presence in 2026, starting with the satirical film titled The Moment.
Throughout the movie, the artist portrays what she refers to as a dark version of her own persona.
It’s the realest depiction of the music industry that I’ve ever seen, the star stated.
She clarified in a conversation: It’s far from a live performance documentary, but the idea stemmed from the demand to make one.
A Glimpse into The Project
The initial preview, launched on recently, combines actual recordings from Charli’s Sweat tour with made-up backstage scenes.
The mockumentary is directed and co-written by Aidan Zamiri, who shared that the story revolves around a world where the singer took completely different paths throughout the marketing of her smash hit album Brat.

A Hectic Acting Schedule
The film is a single one of numerous future film appearances for the musician, who has starred in three independent movies in the current year.

She also agreed to feature in Dakota Johnson’s first film as director A Tree in Blue.

Soundtrack Involvement
Next February will also include the debut of the director’s interpretation of Wuthering Heights, which will showcase original songs from the artist.
She is also set to provide music for the story Mother Mary, with Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, scheduled for release in the coming year.
The Moment is set to premiere on the 30th of January.
